Captain/First Officer flying Learjet 24D; contracted labor agreement for Apple Aviation, Indianapolis, IN. 1993 to 1996.

 

Flight Department Manager and Chief Pilot for LP Aviation in corporate and charter service, Indianapolis, IN, flying Learjets and Westwind Jets. 1986 to 1993.

 

Chief Pilot and Captain for Olympian Aviation, Indianapolis in FAA Part 135 aircraft management company flying Learjets, KingAirs and Cessna twins. 1983 to 1986.

I managed a corporate and a charter flight department for four years to include some of the biggest corporate operations in the State of Indiana not to mention some national figures. My endeavors include my involvement in the:

 

Management of a Lear-Jet for Steve Hilbert of Conseco before they started their own flight department. Mr. Hilbert is the highest paid CEO in the State of Indiana;

 

Management of a Lear-Jet for Michael Browning of Browning Investments, one of the biggest commercial real-estate developers in the State of Indiana;

 

Management of a flight department for Tom Reilly of Reilly Industries managing and flying a Lear-Jet;

 

Management of a flight department for Jeff Smulyan of Emmis Broadcasting and the former owner of the Seattle Mariners baseball team;

 

Management of American Airlines Corporate Charter flight department that was based in Indianapolis Indiana.

As Captain, I have flown some very famous and influential people from the business and sports world. Some of these people I not only flew, but managed their schedules on a regular basis. Those people include:

 

Former U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Nicholas Brady;

 

Bob Orr, the Governor of the State of Indiana and the Lieutenant Governor John Mutz;

 

Some of basketball's greatest legends such as Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas;

 

Tennis greats Jimmy Conners and Ivan Lendhl;

 

Celebrities such as Paul Anka, Englebert Humperdink and Roseanne and Tom Arnold.
